Album Notes

This 6 track EP previews three tracks from \"The Magical Mirror\", Jeanie\'s debut album of her original material, due for completion in December 2008. It is a reflection of her personal experiences of life thus far - observations of those close to her - family, friends, lovers and nemeses.

A mix of sexy Latin grooves with some bebop vocalese and ballads - it is nostalgic yet fresh. The album is being made with the production support of Shane MacGowan (The Pogues) who endorses, \"It\'s GREAT!! It\'s catchy as Hell!\"

This preview sits along side three Latin jazz cover tracks which are regularly performed by Jeanie and her quartet, who gig regularly on the London jazz circuit to sustained acclaim.

Jeanie fronts other ensembles including; the Laurie Morgan Trio and the function band \'Jazz and Cocktails\'. She has sung backing vocals for Luddy Samms (The Drifters) and works with some of the best musicians on the British Jazz scene today.
