Tone Deaf & Color Blind was reviewed in the Anchorage Daily News 8 Section March 25,2005 and got 4 of 5 eight balls! The reviewer somehow thinks we are homophobic though....If she and you only knew!

*Parental Advisory - Naughty Words*
JEB is a three piece from Anchorage, Alaska. Tone Deaf & Color Blind is their first full length release, following the "Pre-revolutionary Taste Test" ep, now out of print. They have opened for 36 Crazy Fists in front over 1500 people, and continually draw 300 people to their shows around Alaska. This CD has every member of the band playing a variety of instruments, from the bass, guitar, and drums, to mandolin, banjo, keyboard, harmonica, and more.
JEB is....
Beau Bodnar - GUITAR, VOCALS, mandolin
Erik Braund - DRUMS, guitar, bass, cello, vocals
Jordan Cash - BASS, vocals, guitar, harmonica
This CD was recorded by Drummer / Producer Erik Braund at his Resound Recording Studio in 2004 (www.resoundrecording.com). It squeezes in at exactly 74 minutes; in fact, a bunch of material had to be cut. You could say JEB got quite anxious to release as much as possible, after two years of having not much at all released.

Have you got your album of 2005 yet!!!!!!
author: Brian@happy being miserable promotions
I know it maybe a little premature to ask if you`ve picked your album of 2005 yet.Hell! we`re only two months into this new year of butterhead radio fodder.Even so, premature maybe a good word to descibe three Jebi knights from a galaxy far far away called Alaska.
These mischievous Anchorage boys, have written, performed, produced and financed their debut cd.This is the best truly independent album I`ve ever heard.I`m also proud that I`m their representative here in the U.K.I believe in this hugely talented trio will be as big as the many great trio`s of the past.We all know how influential some those have been.
It`s a genuine pleasure to chance upon an album like this, a collection of songs with a real cross-the-board appeal. It`s hard to imagine three guys whose average age is 20 being this damn good.Tone Deaf and Color Blind has a maturity that defies their years. But that doesn`t mean they`ve not got the geeky juvenile tendencies.Because Oh boy they have, but it works well. This maybe a distraction for the band,in the future, maybe it will stop them going up their own arse-holes. (quite literally)
Who knows what the future holds for the band, but in this debut Jeb have given the world a tight and melodic fistful of songs.Which shows a near essential example of the bands ability and professionalism.
Baby Love is a great opener, Saturday is out-standing,Drugs are what I love is the un P.C hit single.Dreams are the same is a Neil Young song that I`m sure he wished he`d written himself.Binge I`ll drink to it in moderation.Devil Drink is the Meat Puppets meets the Man in Black.Learned is my current fave.Fuck man there`s 16 tracks on this cd,picking individual titles is pretty pointless.Lets just say music rarely gets much better than this, maybe we`ll have to wait till the second album. In the meantime get your hands on the present day offering.
Then if you enjoy your Tone Deaf and Color Blind exprience. Please join in on the ripple effect and send out the wave of Jeb.I hope sometime in the future the band will taste the delight of international airline cuisine and get their butts over hear to the U.K.
Their biggest gig to date was supporting 36 Crazyfists in their hometown. The guys are currently working on new material already and are looking for a deal. This will give them hope of leaving the confinds of Alaska and Sheriff Dan`s house arrest!
Enjoy,Brian.
