“Espousing the true rock and roll ethic of playing live and loud, JEBO are custodians of a sound that takes its lineage from all great British bands, with the emphasis on finely crafted songs and a captivating live performance.”
“Buy this album it is awesome!!! James Hollingsworth has put a passion into the vocals that I have not heard in a commercial album in a long time. His vocal style is reminiscent of Michael Stipe at times, but this music has a passion that puts REM to shame.” - Bristol Rocks.
“A masterpiece” - Classic Rock Society.
“An eclectic mix of complementing sounds, thought-provoking lyrics with woeful, yet hope-inspiring melodies. JEBO bottle the essence of live music and set the precedent of how it should be done.”- BBC Public-I
“The best gig of the festival” – Joost Van Hoey, Assistant Stage Manager, Ghent Festival, Belgium
JEBO, an incredible new classic rock band, are currently securing dates promoting their debut album ‘Sinking Without You’. Formed around the impassioned song writing of Rob Allen and the intense drumming of Jeff France (both formerly of the highly successful international act K-Passa); JEBO have been honing their act whilst British rock has been asleep.
With a succession of high-profile live dates, including; the Rockinbeerfest; a brief tour of Belgium and a support slots with The Musical Box, culminating in an explosive show at the Royal Albert Hall, JEBO are proving to be a live force to be reckoned with. Summer 2007 will take the band to Ghent Festival in Belgium and a tour of Germany including Loreley, supporting the great Jethro Tull, ASIA and Fish.
Shifting seamlessly from progressive rock, through innovative and expressive sound-scapes to heart-felt masterpieces, the live show has enchanted audiences up and down the UK.
JEBO's debut album, 'Sinking Without You', was made with producer John Burns (Genesis) and Ben Findlay (Peter Gabriel, Live 8). The album is a complex, thoughtful and deeply affecting masterpiece. The exceptional songwriting talents of Rob Allen have found a home within the explosive and rich textures of JEBO. The progressive expertise of Ben Findlay and intuitive production of John Burns, JEBO created an album of modernity whilst being seeped in the history of British rock.
JEBO are a band who know no boundaries. James’s enchanting stage presence and the rock solid force of the band provide a live show to be reckoned with. JEBO are an exceptional live band and are going to cement their reputation throughout the UK and Europe in 2006.
The band were also recently the subject of a 1 hour special on German radio network News 89.4

I saw this band at a pub that was due for demolition called The Woodthorpe Inn in Chesterfield but I think it is now staying open, anyway onto the band I travelled to see them from Doncaster South Yorkshire where I live and even the venue was much smaller than I or the band for that matter thought it would be the band sounded fantastic, it's very rare you get the privilege of getting so close to such a talent as Jebo, anyway my recommendation is that you go and see them in your area or go further afield trust me it's well worth it, there aren't many tour dates left but I will be travelling to London on the 11th August to see them again at The Borderline and also again in Rotherham which is much closer to where I live but seriously buy this album it's awesome and you won't regret it, if your a fan of Jethro Tull/Genesis/Peter Gabriel then seriously do yourself a favour and I can't stress this enough grab yourself a copy of this album!!
