BRIEF JED MARUM BIO

Mainly Scots
author: Rick Daugherty
I stumbled on Jed's work while listening to an iPodcast, following the links to CD Baby and am REAL pleased. My wife's heritage is Scottish and mine is Irish. We spent many, many hours hanging out at Ryan's in New Orleans (when it was there). Jed's voice and incredible guitar work take us both back to those good old days of too many black and tans and the wonderful camraderie. Thanks!

Mainly Scots / Jed Marum
author: Ed LaNeve
I learned about Jed Marum through Marc Gunn's podcasts. To these 70-year-old ears, which have listened to folk music from the Almanac Singers and the Weavers, up to the current artists, Jed Marum is perhaps the finest singer/guitarist of them all. This CD, plus the Irish companion CD, are wonderful showcases for Jed. If solo traditional or Celtic folk artists are your style, you simply cannot pass on Jed. He is superb. His albums are perfect folk "listening" through all tracks. You don't need to skip any!!

One of my favorite CD's EVER!
author: Beth Guillet
I bought this CD for myself after seeing a live performance by the artist. I liked it so much that I ordered an addtional copy for a friend in Canada. Simply one of the most "listenable" CD's I've heard in a long time. I highly recommend it.
