Album Notes

An honest, dark and melancholy cd influenced by Neil Young, Freedy Johnston, and Son Volt. Hard to categorize. Ellsworth likes to refer to the band's style as Alternative Americana.
Significant use of viola and mandolin along with acoustic guitars and homespun hand-drumming/percussion. The excellent use of acoustic eBow on a couple of cuts adds an airy, psychedelic feel to the cd. Backing vocals are crisp and youthful, adding a refreshing twist to the "heart on sleeve"
ambiance.

Band members come from many genres: blues, jazz, bluegrass, folk, country and rock, but all embrace the acoustic americana essence put forth....you will hear the many influences seeping through....all of which compliment Ellsworth's strong, melancholy, and unique songwriting and Neil Youngish vocals.

Fans reportedly "cannot stop playing and replaying" this cd.
