"Jeff and Janis" are Jeff Winter and Janis Fine, two professors in the Chicago area who bring their background in Jewish music and musical theatre to audiences around the country.
Combining their love for Jewish, Israeli, Yiddish and American musical genres, Jeff and Janis bring a cabaret style presentation to their second cd "Come to the Jewish Cabaret". They have performed widely for organizations, private events, fund raisers, radio broadcasts, religious services, and festivals.
Using guitar, delicious vocal harmonies, autoharp, harmonica, and percussion instruments, Jeff and Janis bring a fresh interpretation to traditional and contemporary songs alike. Their audiences sing along, tap along, and clap along to this joyful music.
