Album Notes

jeff brownell spent most of his life with native americans and all the while producing all types of art forms from traditional uses to composing music waiting for the season for it to come together . his passion for sacred music from the thousands of ceremonies and cultural activities with the tribe is self evident in a up lifting way and given out to the world as a prayer . jeff's ability at original composing was guarded all these years because he left that space for his twin , timothy brownell whom was killed in 1996 car accident in florida and felt encouraged to come out with all that original work started to evolve the music to the next level and let out now . waiting for the native american flutes to enter the scene once he moved to the northwest . Jeff is also a weaver and bead master and ethnobotanist . a tireless advocate for native american cultural activities and practices an honorary member of the washoe tribe of california and nevada . brought into the tribe by the smokey sisters and elders of the washoe tribe . is currently helping the duwamish tribe in fund raising efforts along with sharing his knowlwdge and influence towards traditional values and expressions with his art and music . has been performing at different venues around the seattle area . dancing at pow wows and helping where he can .
