For me songs are so much more than words and music: they are feelings, they are passion, they are smells that remind you of someone, they are that place between sleep and dream, they are a moment to leave everything behind, let everything go and just play

Album Notes

For me songs are so much more than words and music: they are feelings, they are passion, they are smells that remind you of someone, they are that place between sleep and dream, they are a moment to leave everything behind, let everything go and just play, just listen and be.
I've been writing and singing songs pretty much my whole life, started playing the guitar pretty young and it just has always seamed natural. I have well over 100 songs and have been working with two very good bands performing what we call Folk Fusion I live for the summer festivals and the chance to perform any time for a listening audience. I am fortunate enough to have had a few. For the past year or so I've sort of migrated back to my roots and started playing and performing all alone, just me and my best friend the acoustic guitar.
These songs off my latest and first ever solo album "Shadow and Light" are some of the results. The 15 songs that make up the complete album were recorded raw, live and with no over dubbing, just a bunch of good stories and songs from the lessons of life.

Soulful! Great melodies. Haunting tunes.
