This is a cd which features 11 originals and 1 cover tune giving us a look inside the musical mind of Jeff Maylin. Jeff also has 2 other cd's out which He released on his own "The Kat & The Blues" and "The Blue" but this cd "Satori In Blue" is his best effort to date.

Most cd's have one or two songs you care to listen to and the rest of the tracks you skip through. Not this one. It's more like Listening to a Pink Floyd album except in a blues setting. Riveting blues but with consistency. Hints of Stevie Ray and other blues legends, yet uniquely original such that you can't say it sounds like Stevie Ray or Jimi Hendrix, or Albert King, or anybody in particular.
