Featured on "Hockey Day in Canada" 2004!
Jeff Nicholson is a Canadian musician living in Tokyo, Japan. He also plays in the band, The Protractors and Accidentally on Purpose. On Saturday nights he can be found taking slapshots at a rink in Yokohama, pretending he's Wayne Gretzky.
He loves:
his wife, Kimiko, daughter, Julia, beagle, Buddy, the Toronto Maple Leafs, rye and cokes, his Yamaha AW4416, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (the cartoon, not the crappy movie), certain types of sushi, his cottage, butter tarts, bumper-shining when he was in elementary school in Regina, Sask., The Band, Brereton Lake, mullets, the Wawa Goose, his grade five students (past and present), Mordecai Richler, barbecued cheese burgers (with onions), "Rainbow Country "and "The Beachcombers", Tim Horton's Donuts (apple or blueberry fritters), The Beatles, jogging, "Smokin' in the Boys Room" (Brownsville Station version- the first 45 he owned!), Richard Yates, The Evil Dead 2, Costa Rica, CBC radio, hockey arena djs, bacon and eggs on Sunday mornings, and fly-in fishing camps.
Add yourself to the list when you order his CD!

hey Mr. N,
nice to see that your really successful, I love his music.
And while he performed at the Canadian Embassy in 2005, the whole crowd went cheering for him. Mr. Nicholson is surely one of the few that is able to create such a wonderful music combining his harmanica in it as well.
GOOD JOB MR. N.!
your 2005 student that lives in the US

We have this song on tape and we'd crank it up in the car on
the way to the rink before my son's hockey games to get him
pumped...we love this song. He's now playing in the CHL -
hopefully on his way to the big leagues.

Very Good

I agree with many of the above reviews that "Manitoba" is a standout track and there are more good ones on here too. He better get his butt back to Canada for some shows.
