Vocalist Jeff Robinson returns to the scene with an hypnotic blend of original Jazz and Soul recordings, evoking memories of Marvin Gaye, Al Green and Sam Cooke - all wrapped in a haunting jazz package. He exploded on the Jazz scene in London, playing the famous Jazz Cafe, and was a fixture on London's Jazz FM [Radio]. In fact, Jeff can be found on several Jazz FM compilations. London-based Echoesnews called Jeff's debut LP "Any Shade of Blue", "One of the Top 5 CD's of the year."

The new CD, "Eyewitness", is a deep reaching, moody, but often uplifting testament to the human condition. "Eyewitness" is a soul searching expedition - one which many listeners will identify with. Sometimes bright and hopeful, but also melancholy and subdued, Jeff speaks to his audience, weaving tales of everyday life, love, despair and hope.

Originally from New York, Jeff now resides in Los Angeles. He is a household name in many Jazz circles, having perfomed at the Playboy Jazz Festival, and in many of the best Jazz venues on the west coast. Don't miss this strong 2nd CD.

I saw Jeff at the Afrian Market place a few years ago and was real impressed with his vocals!!  I still play his album im my car and home all the time.  My children even love the music!!!  Hey man keep it up you are the best!!!

I bought this cd based on reviews only (Echoes) and I have no regrets! Playing this cd, I need to sit down and listen to it and not be doing too many other things at the same time. As I like reading the lyrics while listening, I do wish they were printed in the booklet. His voice is really beautiful and all of the songs are enjoyable. I appreciate that there is a role for various instruments to take the lead from time to time. All the horn instruments are great. Look what you have done to me is my fave right now with the piano and sax accompaniment.
Hopefully Jeff Robinson will make it out to the Netherlands for a performance or two !!

This is an unexpected pleasure.  Jeff Robinson is certainly someone's best kept secret.  This record has depth, emotion, great musicianship and a truly great artist.  When someone finally catches on, I think we'll be hearing about him for a long time to come.
