JEFF TUTTLE - LIVIN' LIKE A MILLIONAIRE (aint got a
dime)

With all respect to all the greats of country music,
what we hear on radio and buy at the cd stores are
only the TIP of the iceberg when it comes to talent in
Nashville. Jeff Tuttle is a prime example of that.

With a voice similar to Sammy Kershaw, this cd proves
that there are plenty of talented singers that deserve
attention too and also proof of great songs that never
make it to the headliners. Opening the cd is Long Neck
Story, a fun, country feeling cut about a night on the
town. The Strong One is a touching bit about how the
woman in our lives usually is the strongest one most
of the time. Red Neck Feelin' Blue is one of those
titles that you will think, why hasn't that song been
cut yet? He picks it back up with the title track,
about how we all want to live high on the hog, but our
pockets can't quite match it. Jeff gets very
traditional with Hung Up On You, a cut that George
Jones would be proud of. Other nice tracks are Momma
Beat The Devil Out Of Me, the old Mel McDaniel (and
currently Sammy Kershaw) cut of Baby's Got Her Blue
Jeans On. He closes out the cd Hero's Never Die, about
the fathers in our lives.

Again, alot of times we dont have to turn to the
George Straits, Kenny Chesneys and Joe Nichols for
great country music. Jeff Tuttle proves that point
very well.

LIVIN' LIKE A MILLIONAIRE (AIN'T GOT A DIME) Jeff Tuttle (Self-released)

Born and reared in Monroe, Mich., Tuttle is a refreshing newcomer on the country scene with his debut disc of 12 solid songs. He's traditional through and through, with a welcome, warm, and deep baritone that reflects his maturity.

His song selections gleaned from hundreds of offerings are inspired. The title track, his own creation, is an uptempo, hard-country masterpiece allegedly based on personal experiences.

He has surrounded himself with a group of outstanding musicians on guitars, fiddle, mandolin, keyboards, drums, banjo, and dobro for a full, contemporary sound. His voice paves the way through the lyrics while these knockout instrumentalists keep the tempo smooth or jumping as necessary.

Now living near Nashville, Tuttle is hoping that this album showcasing his considerable talents will earn him a niche in the tough country music business. He enlisted the services of several well-known music producers to help make it sound so good. Certainly, it should open some doors for this deserving artist.

Wow...great songs, fantastic voice and fabulous backing. A real country music cd. Not remotely like the stuff they peddle from Nashville now . Rascal Flatts, Sugerland, Carrie Underwood take note . This is how it should be done if you wish to be called country music artists. What a shame today's music moguls don't give guys like this a proper chance.
