Lauren Jelencovich is a singing sensation at age 19. She sings light pop to light opera, plays the piano and excels in hip-hop dancing. Her drive and motivation led her to team up with Grammy Award Winning writer/producer Dave Merenda. Hence, Lauren's self-titled full length CD was born. Dave Merenda produced and wrote the songs in Los Angeles joined by a handful of talented writers. . Tour dates are scheduled in Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Las Vegas (MGM Grand Hotel, Hardrock Hotel), Biltmore Estate, Gucci Plaza, Atlantis Music conference, Carnegie Hall and throughout Palm Beach.
Lauren's charisma and unique talent has landed her spots on CBS, NBC, ABC, PAX, FOX and WB TV. She was featured in Teen Magazine, Teen Mag.com and Teen Scene. Recently she was cast in a commercial for CBS and Universal Studios on the "Early Show". A producer at CBS remarked "The moment I heard Lauren, I knew it was a voice that could move mountains." Lauren has won an innumerable amount of vocal competitions and honors. She was the Grand Prize Winner of "Ed McMahon's Next Big Star Search", defeating thousands while being broadcast nationally. She has performed in front of colossal audiences including for the President of the United States. Lauren finds time to volunteer with children, senior citizens and charities throughout the country.

Lauren who lives in Florida,attends The Manhattan School of Music Conservatory, began singing at the age of two. When she heard background music in public places she'd comment "there is a song in my ear" from this point on she heard music in her head. Lauren's grandmother would play the piano and Lauren would sing. She learned songs from musicals and Disney films. In the fourth grade Lauren performed her first solo. At age thirteen she began voice lessons. For over three years Lauren has studied privately with esteemed vocal coach/teacher and world-renowned tenor Cesar Ulloa. He is affiliated with the MET, various prestigious universities and heads up several Young Artist's Program's internationally and in the United States. Cesar gave Lauren a book of Coloratura Soprano songs. He wrote this in the book " I await the day that I sit in an audience and hear you perform these beautiful arias and songs. I believe in your amazing talent and feel truly blessed and honored to have you in my studio." Her current influences are Celine Dion, Vanessa Carlton, Jewel, Michelle Branch, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. Lauren receives song submissions daily. These include compositions from writers that have worked with Madonna, Jennifer Lopez and Faith Hill. A professor at Manhattan School of Music said, "It is very rare that you find a talent like this. Lauren could do anything." Lauren's favorite quote "All stars know they shine, however the greatest, work to Glow".
