Less sing-along melodies, more trippy ostinatos that swirl around in your head and slowly warm you up like a lovely mug of hot chocolate on a cold London afternoon.
Some of the tracks (The Whistling Lofus) start off very mysteriously, and only after you\'ve been taken on a 3-minute ride do you find yourself in the midst of another complex tune that\'s managed to suck you in without you having realised. I love the voice at the start of that track - disturbingly reminds me of Paul McKenna\'s CDs of subconscious sermons with weird hypnotic background noise.
The album is very cosmic and all the tracks mature to become extremely yummy by the end. Filthy Mechanoid is too cool for school - it doubtless \'has the funk\' soothed by episodes of a cool minty breeze. See, that\'s the CD talking... Also in the favourite box are Organumatron and Lunatic Takeover.
