Album Notes
If you are looking for a musical artist that will sweep you away in a sprightly wind of acoustic Pop/Americana nirvana, look no further than Jen Lowe.

Having toured with prestigious national and international artists, Lowe is a journey-woman through and through; armed with a beaten-up backpack stuffed with sentimental keep-sakes of a woman both beloved and scorned. The songs on her debut solo CD, “From the End of this Hallway”, play like bittersweet battle-cries of a great victory won against fallen relationships and personal struggles in a coming-of-age war. And when the dust settles, there’s the lone voice of Jen’s soul, swaying gently, beautifully, between each song like a feather dropping from the heavens between the limbs of Oak trees.

Jen's eternal search for balance and connection in her life comes through strongly in her writing and performance. Never taking herself too seriously in life or on the stage, you will often find her giggling and at ease as she tells a funny anecdote or reaches into her soul to share the darker parts of her journey. She is a true natural performer, whether she’s pounding ferociously on a djembe or gently finger-picking her old guitar; as a multi-instrumentalist,
Jen’s shows are spontaneous, fun and never predictable.

And it truly resonates. Her stage presence, songwriting, and musical ability have instantly captured audiences from state to state. Her lovelorn poetic verses and catchy choruses will remain in your head, illuminating and fluttering, like fireflies in a mason jar, long after the last note is played.

Ron Wiles, Producer of the Ron Wiles Music Show, commented about Jen’s debut CD:

"In the Indie American/Folk space, Jen Lowe is as good as it gets. If you're looking for a new artist to add to your collection of great finds - look no further. Jen Lowe is that rare artist who does it perfectly -- writes, sings, performs, etc."

Jen Lowe is truly a welcome beacon of light in the midnight of the soul’s harvest.

The most emotive CD I’ve heard in years
A stirring debut that reveals through beautifully crafted tunes the scope of affection, anguish and determination residing in this remarkable singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist’s heart and mind. An extraordinary collection of heartfelt songs by a caring and gifted soul.

In the indie American/Folk space, Jen Lowe is "AS GOOD AS IT GETS!"

If you're looking for a new artist to add to your collection of great finds - look no further, you've found her... and yes, consider yourself lucky.
Jen Lowe is that rare artist who does it perfectly, write, sing, perform, etc. Let me explain, after hearing her songs, I don't feel as a musician / sound engineer
that I can suggest anything to do differently, or better. Jen really is that good in the studio.
Seeing Jen live is a treat as well, but that's another story... Bottom line - BUY THIS CD. Fall in love with it... and if you're not feeling it - CALL A DOCTOR!

Awesome New Find!
I hate country. I do. The closest I ever got to it was the Dixie Chicks and what's her name... Mutt's wife (ex?)... Oh right... Shania Twain. Anyway, I wanted to get a Cajon so I found Jen's You Tube videos on demoing them. And I saw she had an album, so I said: "what the heck". I love supporting indie music. So when I saw the "country" genre pop up after ripping it to my ipod, I said "oh, no...." But I listened... and she has some of the snappiest tunes I've heard in a while. If she's country, she's got massive cross-over appeal. Tight harmonies, and toe-tappin' music. I give my friends indie music for their birthdays, and this girl is going into heavy rotation. Come out to the left coast, Jen!

Awesome Singer/Songwriter
I really enjoyed Jen Lowe and her cd, From The End Of This Hallway. It is a great piece of music! Jen is an awesome singer/songwriter! I can't wait until she releases her second cd.

Jen's voice has a soothing, introspective quality to it that makes me want to take the ride again and again as soon as it's over. The songs are honest, intimate, fresh and 100% original.
The musicians (including all vocals)are so perfect in all the parts and again... so original in the way they put together the parts and solos. The production is beautiful and "clean" I LOVE this CD and can't wait for the next one!
