Album Notes

***Chosen as a 2009 Top Pick by christmasreviews.com!***
Jennifer Graf's love of early music, which started in college, was the true impetus for the creation of this album. She took some of her favorite Christmas songs from the 14th to 18th centuries, and combined them with new discoveries on this ambitious album. Not only is she featured on many solo selections, but she recruited many of her talented singer friends to join her. There are five songs which feature acappella SATB quartet, two songs which feature full chorus, and two duets. Ms. Graf also sings harmony with herself on three tracks, where she recorded each vocal line separately in the studio.

She is accompanied by Mr. Terry Musselman, who also accompanied her on her first CD, "Tidings of Christmas." Jennifer also welcomed Kerry Ziegler on guitar, as well as Karen El-Chaar on recorder.

Album Credits:

If you are looking for your generic Holiday style album don't buy this one. It is not your cookie cutter album that washed up stars make when they can't make hits anymore. This CD has passion and intensity that few performers will ever see. Keep those CD's coming Jennifer, I never have to worry about Holiday gifts, I just get my family and friends your CD's.

This is a truly wonderful addition to my Christmas music collection. The selections provide a real connection to Christmases long past and all the associated traditions. Jennifer Graf has a lovely voice, but this record is more than just her singing - the music mix, the blending voices, the great production of this CD make it a super choice for your Christmas music.

"Beautiful woman, beautiful song selections, beautiful execution!"

Excerpt from review at ChristmasReviews.com (http://www.christmasreviews.com/wjennifergraf2.shtml).....Graf possesses one of finest instruments I have heard--she is that good... Wexford Carol is mesmerizing, O Magnum Mysterium is exquisite, and Noel Nouvelet is equally outstanding. And Graf's a cappella delivery of the first verse of Es ist ein Ros' entsprungen is downright remarkable....her delivery is oh-so-exquisite, converting even a jaded old soul like mine.
