Born and raised in the midwest, Ms. Lane has performed all over the country from Miami to L.A., delighting crowds with her soulful earthy vocals and heavy keyboard chops. Underage in the funky Kansas City scene, (1983) she was taken under the wing of seasoned players, becoming more imaginative as her playing and writing styles grew.
Ms. Lane's “Sweet Long Cool Drink'a Water”, released on Lunacy Records, dropped in January 2002 to rave reviews. Ms. Lane's writing on the disc stretches her styles from singer/songwriter,('No One Knows') to the belting blues/gospel genres, (title track and 'Big Fat Lie'). The CD is drawing interest worldwide and continues to be singled out on the airways from the US to Europe.
Ms. Lane has called Denver home since '97 and has opened for such acts as Blood Sweat and Tears, The Little River Band,
Starship, Molly Hatchet and many, many others. This young woman's live show will knock you right out! Her show is in your face, high energy, emotional and funny. The band she has, (4 to 10 piece) is a full force music makin' machine! You wanna dance? That's what she'll give you. No doubt about it.

Heartfelt originals. Big Bad chick vocals. Heavy Keyboard chops
author: Jessica Tate
Heartfelt original tunes. I love I'll Give You'll Give. Jennifer offers new twists on old cover favorites. Specifically her rendition of The Weight, and The Jealous Kind. Why have I not heard this on the air? Our system of celebrity in music in this country is wack.
With depth and emotion and a quick and cutting wit, Jennifer Lane is an Artist the record companys should be courting. People like myself dig this very eclectic grouping of tunes. I cant wait to hear what she releases next.
