Album Notes

The Bird and the Beatles began as a show in 2006 that was comprised of my versions of some of my favorite Beatle songs plus stories of when I was twelve and heard the famed quartet for the first time. My family lived in Taos, New Mexico which at that time had a population of 2000. It was very hard to find Mod clothes in town, so my sister and I would order them from a Montgomery Ward catalogue. I remember waiting for the school bus decked out in a mini dress, Ringo hat and fishnet stockings. This CD is my way to revisit the Beatles using the style of music I know and love. The cover images were taken in Taos in front of the house where my family lived in 1968. I hope you enjoy my spin on the Beatles! - Jennifer

Extraordinary Magic

Jennifer Robin's latest album is extraordinary in many ways. To be inspired by one's creative influences is one thing, to create magic in the process is quite another. In this album, Jennifer has done both - with great depth and soulfulness. Her music is lush, wise, vulnerable, at times playful, and always straight from the heart.
