said,'Wake up, listen up, sit down, and listen to

A warm pure voice, a CD for almost any listener.
author: Rob Mackie
When I first picked up a copy of this CD, I really liked it for the tunes Scott covers ... Stars Fall on Alabama, I Want a Little Boy, even a cool version of that old BTO song Looking Out for Number One! But over the years I've learned to like, then love Scott's own tunes and her amazing vocal clarity and tone. She can really hit a note so as to let you know it's there, but she never gets in your face with it because of the warmth and friendliness of her voice. As my ears have grown more accustomed to harder and purer jazz, I've always found something on this CD to listen to. You could say that, in a way, as I've grown as a listener, this CD has kept pace alongside me. I recommend it to just about anyone, novice or experienced, who wants to hear a pure singing voice showing her versatility.
