ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jenn Jinks is a wife, mom of four, youth minister, vocalist, and a songwriter. In the past year, she has felt especially called to write songs about her faith and about how good God has been to her.

She began writing for "Daughter of the King" in October, 2012, when a family friend sold her a beautiful Baldwin upright piano. The first time she sat at the piano, "Mercy Rains", "Magnificat", and "Daughter of the King" emerged. She spent the next year writing the other nine songs on the album with her co-writer and co-producer, James Wahl. The pair would try the worship songs out at their church's worship services on Sundays to see how they sat with the congregation and would use that feedback to fine-tune their writing. Jenn reflects, "It’s been so humbling to hear the entire congregation praying with the words and music I’ve written."

In August, 2013, with twelve original demos, Jenn traveled to Phoenix, AZ, to record with producer, The Flanj. The product is an album that she hopes will assure you of God’s boundless love and inspire you to worship more deeply than ever before.
