1985 BC - 1985 AD: Not too much happened
June 19th, 1986 : Jenton Lee comes into existence.
March 5th, 2007 : www.JentonLee.com goes live
August 4th, 1997 : Skynet becomes operational
Born on the aforementioned date, Jenton began his journey much like a particular influential religious icon...sort of. Jenton spent his childhood in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, only to leave the Northeast's lush, temperate paradise for the dark, dreary climes of California. He has owned the same red jacket all his life, and it looks damn good on him.
Jenton began writing after he first heard the song 'Love Song For No One', by John Mayer. Upon hearing the song, he thought to himself, '...I could do that!' Until he shares the same stage as John Mayer, this story of beginnings will be one of foolhardiness and over-confidence.
Drawing on his classical background and the fact that his parents took him to see so many Broadway shows, Jenton writes songs that tell a story, both lyrically and musically. If you don't have the time to become a close friend to Jenton, just listen to his songs. Chances are, you'll gain an insight into his persona that even he never knew about. Plus, you'll get to avoid the awkward pauses that seem to frequent Jenton's daily conversations.
