Jeremie Heston has taken five years to arrange, compose, record, edit and master this, what he would call "life long dream". Jeremie says “music for me is something that is worth giving everything I have. "I have only one life to live. I only get one shot at this so I want to make it count. I don’t want to release my work until it is as good as I can possibly make it and I put my whole heart into it. I don't just want to make a song or album just to make money, not to say that money is bad. Instead what really drives me is the desire is to create an experience for the listener and hopefully they might feel God's love in the listening. I want it to be worth people’s time and I pray that it ministers to them. I want my life and my music to somehow make a positive difference in the lives of others. That's why I do what I do".
Some of the tunes on this CD Jeremie wrote as early as age fourteen and have been refined for many years. But even the cover tunes have a very fresh and inspiring perspective that Jeremie brings to the table. It’s almost as if he takes every song he touches and finds a way to make it his own without of course taking away from the original. Some people say he enhances the songs he covers.
This music that Jeremie has spent much of his life working on is truly a rare gift that you must hear for yourself. It's not often that you come across something like this. Take a moment to listen and enjoy the experience and have a blessed day!
