ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Love & Emma Goldman: A Rock Opera world premiered in Santa Fe, NM, May 17- 20th, 2012. The performance took place at the Armory for the Arts and was co-produced by Santa Fe Performing Arts and Wise Fool New Mexico.
Sarah-Jane Moody was the librettist and director and Jeremy Bleich was the composer and musical director. All the words in the libretto were something that Emma Goldman herself once spoke or wrote with one small exception; there are a few lines to America the Beautiful that are not E.G.'s. The actual disks have all the words and sources if you're interested.

The Cast:
Meagan Chandler as Emma Goldman
Aleph Ayin as Alexander "Sasha" Berkman
Sarah Weiler as Millie
Giacomo Zafarano as Fedya Stein
Kathryn Zdan as Helen Minkin

The Band:
Jeremy Bleich: piano, guitar, keyboard, melodica
Paul "Feathericci" Groetzinger: drums
Mike Gamble: guitar
Carla Kountoupes: violin
Brian Mayhall: keyboard, bass

Recorded by Matthew "Kabby" Kabakoff and Jeremy Bleich
