Album Notes

Jeremy Dyen is a powerhouse musician, songwriter and now producer located just outside of Philadelphia, PA. He can be found writing, recording and performing locally and worldwide in so many styles it might make your head spin. He has performed recorded most recently on John Legend's Grammy Award winning cd, Get Lifted, and most recently toured in Japan with hip hop artist Steph Pockets. He has also performed with Zakir Hussain, G-Love and Digable Planets.

Though currently Jeremy spends much of his focus on the proggish-rock power trio, Blivit (http://www.blivit.net) and Brazilian phenomenon Alo Brasil (http://www.alobrasil.net), it is rare that a day goes by that he doesn't hit record in his home studio, where ONSWITCH was created. Onswitch, while certainly not the first of Jeremy's recordings, is Jeremy's first full-length release as a solo artist. And though he's mainly a keyboardist, Jeremy performed on all instruments.
Moods shift throughout, from the soft contemplations of "Now," (the opening track) and "Onswitch," (the title track) to the thickness of "All My friends" or the dreamy "Bye Bye Blue." Even in the heavier, distorted moments, Onswitch remains melodic, certainly sonically creative, and often soulful, as in "Kings and Queens."
