For the debut album, Rhythms From Another Summer - which sounds like a jazzy Jack Johnson meets a more alternative John Mayer - Jeremy recorded 9 songs which were inspired by personal summer experiences while living in France and Prague.
Jeremy composed each song stylistically different from the next. From the alt/rock “Dunes of Bohemia” to the pop “I’m at Home” to the folk “Her I Am,” you can hear specific rhythmic changes, which symbolize the distinctness of each experience Jeremy sings about. Jeremy manages to tie the songs together with, as one fan described, “a phrasing unlike any musician I’ve ever heard.”
Lyrically, the songs are image provoking and have a magical-realist bent to them. They are about living life to the fullest and romance, and give a revealing look at the specific experiences which impassioned Jeremy to pursue music.
