Jeremy Pearce began his life long passion for the King of Rock & Roll as soon as he was old enough to know who Elvis was. Born in 1975, he grew up in California’s Central Valley and his tribute performances were born by the age of eight. What was once the hobby of his youth is now his full-time job. To date, his career has encompassed over 3,000 live shows in California and around the country. Jeremy is a popular act on the fair, convention, and casino circuit and has performed for virtually every type of function. Some of Jeremy’s career highlights include: performing with Elvis’ original backing vocalists, The Sweet Inspirations, at Fresno’s Tower Theater; opening for The Marshall Tucker Band, The Bellamy Brothers, Paul Revere and the Raiders, among others; being one of the only Elvis tribute artists with radio airplay; and exclusive engagement on a riverboat casino in Elvis’ birth state of Mississippi; and playing the same hotel in Lake Tahoe that Elvis played in the 1970’s…in fact, when there, Jeremy is given Elvis’ original suite!
Jeremy’s show has even received the support of some of Elvis’ closest associates. Larry Geller, Elvis’ personal hairstylist and friend, once commented that Jeremy’s show was “the best illusion of Elvis I have ever seen!”
This CD represents some of Jeremy’s best work and truly has something for everyone. For those who love the early rockers, Jeremy features two 1956 #1 classics, “Heartbreak Hotel” and “Hound Dog.” For fans of Elvis’ 70’s ballads, “Kentucky Rain,” “The Wonder of You,” and “Hurt” are hard to beat. Elvis’ gospel and patriotic side are well represented by “How Great Thou Art” and “An American Trilogy.” “Viva Las Vegas” and “CC Rider” start every party off on the right foot and you can’t go wrong with two of Elvis’ last great rock songs, “Suspicious Minds” and “Burning Love.” Finally, you even get Elvis’ most recent hit, 2002’s smash #1, “A Little Less Conversation.”
On stage somewhere tonight, Jeremy is once again performing his Tribute to the King and bringing back memories for all of the fans. It won’t be long before Jeremy has done Elvis longer than Elvis did Elvis. As Jeremy always says, “as long as people want to see me, I will be happy to keep doing it.”
