.....Long time Northeast Ohio musician.
.....Jerry writes all words, music (guitar & vocals).
.....The first LP release 'The Demo Tapes' was only meant to sell a few copies, to recoup studio costs, and to try for a label deal, but ended up getting heavy air play on WMMS, Cleveland, Ohio's largest rock station. This was pretty good for a local boy with no label.
.....The second LP, City Boy, also did quite well. While stirring the interest of several record companies, a deal was never struck.
.....The songs are solid, well recorded, great lyrics, tight harmonies, some incredible lead guitar work by Jerry Tyler & Ron Ondercin. A solid performance on drums is shared by Dana Browning & Ed Brown, while taking turns on bass is Rick Tacket, Danny Ondercin, and Freeman Turner. John Wolf on backing vocals and a number of other talented guest musicians grace the album.

chart-quality songwriting and performance
author: matt vandervort
this is good enough to be on the charts of its time, or now (despite the current trendiness of alternative/goth etc. etc.) it still would fit.
I think this cd worth of tracks spotlights the songwriting and musicianship/vocal talent of jerry and the other musicians.. but more still is on the demo, and check his new band 'blind date' too as they have produced my favorite cd yet!
