Hi . I'm Jerry Fretto. I've been composing songs thirty plus years . I seem to get more music when I'm not trying. That's because GOD inspires me with the melodies and words. I will keep a casette recorder near my bed along with pen and paper and usually in the early A.M. hours before I get out of bed... I'm hearing a new song come down from Heaven..and I have to right it down or I most likely will forget! I've learned this the hard way in the past. The music can go any style. I usually love powerful , melodic melodies with a lot of hooks ! I get bored easy So it takes much to keep my attention And that's how I approach composing. I try to keep it simple for my musicians to play & record my music because I have an interest to get off beat alot with odd time signatures. My Dear Mother (Mary) told me to go back to the music two weeks before she went to Heaven to be with Jesus in Feb. 2002.. and since then I've been hearing far greater music in my life than ever before!
