R ockford , Illinois native Jersey joins forces alongside Chicago this fall with his latest release “GoodFellaz Rockstarz Mixtape Vol. 2”. The ‘Rockstarz' mixtape series showcases Jersey 's ability to deliver his passion and pain from the streets, while maintaining lyrical messages throughout. Jersey displays a strong Chi-Town influence on his mixtapes by flowing over Bump J's ‘Move Around' instrumental on the track ‘Who The Man' ( Rockstarz Mixtape Vol. 1) and on his new remix of Shawnna's ‘Gettin' Some Head' (Rockstarz Mixtape Vol. 2) among others. Beyond the Chi, he spreads the flavor even further over some of Down South's hottest tracks including 'We Ain't Going Nowhere' (Scarface), 'Mill On the Low' (Young Jeezy), 'Let Me See You Shake' (David Banner) and more. “GoodFellaz Rockstarz Mixtape Vol. 2” delivers 27 tracks deep of pure street heat Rock-Town style. Big V (CEO of Big V Productions) acts as a mentor to Jersey by overseeing all of his ‘Rockstarz' projects, coordinating various concerts/events, supplying original beats as a producer and campaigning Jersey's music worldwide. Well-known and respected in Rockford's rap community, Big V has also extended himself to one of the Rock's emerging groups, Verbal Assasins on their recent project “Snipe Session” (preview album here) featuring WGCI talent show winner Whiteboy among others. Already making noise in the Midwest, East Coast and Down South, look out for Jersey & Big V Productions to continue hitting the rap game and holding it down from the Rock to the Chi.
