Album Notes

1970 Jesse, Wolff and Whings produced by Denny Cordell. The band toured nationwide opening for Leon Russell, Spirit, Hot Tuna, Ike and Tina Turner, as well as headlining smaller arenas. Also worked as a sideman for "Papa" John Phillips playing flute and percussion on John's "Wolfking of L.A." tour. Signed to RCA Reecords in 1977 and recorded two albums, "Jesse Barish" produced by Marty Balin, and "Mercury Shoes" produced by John Hug and Marty Balin. Wrote "Count on Me" for Jefferson Starship," a top ten hit, as well as several other album cuts, including "Love Lovely Love," Crazy Feeling," and co-wrote "St. Charles." Also wrote "Hearts"(Is everything allright?") for Marty Balin's first solo outing on EMI Records.It was also a top ten international hit."Cherry Road," Produced by Jeff Pescetto,is the latest chapter in an ongoing musical journey.It is an autobiographical song cycle done in a California country/folk/pop/rock style.
