Vertigo is a group led by the amazing clarinetist and composer JesseCanterbury, and includes Chris Stover on trombone; Joanne deMars onCello; and Tom Baker on acoustic guitar. A strange and wonderfulcombination of instrumental timbres, these players create a sound thatis very new and unlike any other ensemble out there. With quirky andgroove-based compositions by Canterbury, this record feels completelyfamiliar and totally disorienting at the same time.
