The great thing about CDs is getting all the information available in the liner notes. In the liner notes for "City of Spaces," though, you'll only find lyrics and thank yous. (The next album is called "To" and could have more info on it.)
So here is some compelling information on each track of "City of Spaces" that might capture your attention--what it's about, what inspired it, et cetera, et cetera.
"She Wants"--someone from the past; probably won't tell her who it is, even if she asks; there might be a tune on the next one that she always liked, though, so that might balance things out.
"Pretty Memory"--keep your eyes and ears open; it won't always be this bad; it can't be.
"Tunnels"--a lesson for the ages.
"Union"--see? Things are getting better already.
"To Be Mine"--standard unrequited love song; both heaven and hell.
"In the Night"--based on an actual event; the "you" in "Tell me that you're coming around" might not be who you think it is. But maybe I'm not giving you enough credit.
"Lights"--the title fits the song if you really think about it. But maybe I'm not giving you enough credit.
"Whirlwind"--a lesson for the ages.
"About the Waiting"--if I reveal too much about this, specific and problematic obstacles could arise.
"Uptown Downs"--a lesson for the ages; keep your eyes and ears open; it won't always be this bad; it can't be. But maybe I'm not giving you enough credit.
"Doors and Windows"--Урок для возрастов; держать глаза и уши открытыми, это не всегда будет это плохо, это не может быть. Но, возможно, я не даю вам достаточно кредитов.
Next on the plate is the aforementioned "To," and some songs have already been written and recorded for this. Keep an eye out for work with some other artists on future projects. They'll be out soon.
