ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jessi Hamilton is a 24-year-old singer/songwriter and pianist from Raleigh, NC. Jessi began playing the piano at age four and started writing and recording her first songs at fourteen. In 2004, she released her debut self-titled album. Currently working on her sophomore album, "Rebirth", she has been named "one of the best independent female artists in the country" by RockRGrl magazine. She has also been featured on numerous recordings and has performed along the East Coast.

"People need to hear Jessi's voice. She is an artist who sings with a sincerity that will melt people's souls. Mine did."
Dominic Miller
Solo Artist and Long-Time Guitarist for Sting

"(Jessi Hamilton) has a really beautiful voice, with a lot of vibrato. It is reminiscent of both Stevie Nicks and Madonna. My favorite tracks were ("I'll Cry For You") and ("Watching River") because of their hooks . . ."
Narada Michael Walden
Grammy Award Winning Producer / Musician for Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Wynonna Judd, Jeff Beck, Al Green, Stevie Wonder and others

"I wish many blessings to her (Jessi Hamilton) and many successes in her career."
Al Green
R&B Soul Legend and Reverend

"A rising talent with a great voice whose multi-faceted material makes for interesting listening."
John Lappen
Hollywood Reporter

"Jessi Hamilton is a young artist that shows great promise. 'I'll Cry For You' is a passionate song, beautifully produced and meticulously arranged. We're proud to have bragging rights, discovering her early in what is sure to be a great career."
Carla DeSantis
Editor In Chief, RockRGrl Magazine

"Jessi Hamilton's voice is innocent, sensual and needs to be heard."
Tony Infantino
Air Personality - Tony & Dee In The Morning, CBS Radio

"Don't be fooled! Jessi Hamilton is not some gorgeous fashion model who wants to be a singer. Ok, the gorgeous part is true, but trust me, this girl can sing! And she's a quirky, intelligent songwriter too. You'll be glad you were introduced to Jessi Hamilton."
Vince Marino
Music Correspondent - ABC Radio Network, New York, NY

"Jessi Hamilton is living proof that there are still musical artists out there who are individually evolved rather than mass-produced."
Conrad Stinnett III
Music Critic - Peoria Journal Star

"The recordings effectively balance lush instrumental arrangements with layers of Jessi's vocal work supporting her lead. This album is a tremendous starting point for Jessi Hamilton and sets the stage for a very promising career in the music industry. 5 out of 5 stars."

Quality and variety.
Ever listen to a CD and get bored half way... as you realize every track sounds just like the each other? Well, you won't have that problem with this CD. Jessi Hamilton's album offers a good variety without losing quality or cohesiveness. From the unadorned, sweet Simple Days to the edgy Turn Off, Shut Down, there is a lot to enjoy.

My favorite track, Sands of Time, happens to be the middle ground of all of the songs in the album. Give it a listen.
