One small moment can change everything. In one second you can be brought down, smothered with shame, covered with guilt, broken by pain, and you realize that escape is your only friend. My name is Jessika and my escape is my music.
Outgoing, enthusiastic, willing, interested yet lost, confused and angry at the world, lend me a pen, some paper, a guitar and I’ll make you believe magic is real.
Never satisfied with what I write but immensely inspired by other artists, my goal is to release my feelings, let them dance with my music and speak to others.
For me, playing my songs is like standing in the middle of a field and screaming at everything. I spin, I spin, spin until I fall down with complete satisfaction.
I’ve not yet fallen, and no one will stop me from spinning. Since I’ve been young I’ve sung, and have never ceased to since. My idols are Freddie Mercury and Kurt Cobain. Their talent, might and musical strength were so powerful and excelled to such a point that one can only remain breath taken and in awe at their beauty.
