Zeb Cruikshank - Acoustic Guitar
Jessica began classical training on violin when she was 10 years old, and her exceptional vocal abilities have made her an in-demand soloist for weddings across the state, and national anthems at venues such as Williams Arena, the Metrodome, Target Center, and Xcel Energy Center. Zeb has been performing professionally since age 15 and has opened for several national acts including Semisonic, Maceo Parker, Corey Glover, and Firehouse. He is a recent high honors graduate of Music Tech College in the elite Artist Diploma program.
Together we have written many jazz and blues-influenced original songs, and perform popular favorites by a diverse group of artists such as Norah Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Chet Atkins, and Van Morrison. In just 9 months of gigging together, we have already been well received at several Twin Cities venues such as The Kitty Cat Klub, Jitter's at The Times, The Bean and Wine Cafe, Dunn Bros. on Grand Ave., and Keegan's Irish Pub.
We recently recorded our first CD, "...Like Sunday Afternoon", and had successful release parties in both Minnesota and New Hampshire (Zeb's original home state). The album features 12 of our original songs, and showcases our wide variety of musical genres.

Outstanding....

This is cd is outstanding. Jess & Zeb are easily one of the best acoustic blues acts in the midwest area. All the tracks on this album are good but my favorite are The Thought of You and Small Time. The album sounds alot like norah jones, but better. Pick it up!

Worthy of fame and awards

I originally heard these guys on Myspace (yes I know, a bit cliché) and my first thought was, "I have to pick up their cd!" It was every bit worth the effort, not to mention the excellent service provided by CD baby, and I'm not getting anything special for saying this. Anyway, Jess's soulful voice sounds like it's coming straight from the lips of a grammy winner, and Zeb's talent on the guitar is for the most part unmatched. These guys have too much talent for you NOT to buy their cd! Not all the songs are as good as the tracks they have open to the public, but enough of them are astounding enough to make this album an absolute must-have for anyone who is a fan of music in general.
