Album Notes

Make no mistake: Argentina is a Metal nation! And JesusMartyr may just be the prime example of this. The explosive blend of brutality, melody and an endless violent energy presented on their new album ‘The Black Waters’ is ready to take over the rest of the world.

With over ten years of experience under its belt, in which the band recorded three albums, did three European tours and three Brazilian tours, as well as two TV performances broadcasted all over Latin America, JesusMartyr is sure to offer you a tight, well played dose of intense Metal.

Inspired by the likes of Fear Factory, Strapping Young Lad, Slayer, Lamb Of God and Sepultura, the band offers aggressive Metal in the broadest sense possible. This allowed them to present themselves sharing the stage with many different bands, such as Sepultura, Cannibal Corpse, Dismember, Misery Loves Co. and Disbelief.

‘The Black Waters’ was mixed and mastered by Peter “Ziggy” Siegfredsen at ZigZound Studios in Denmark, known from his work with Mnemic, Ill Disposed, Hatesphere and Mercenary. This gives the material the bombastic sound it deserves. Allowing to really push you into the darkest waters of today’s Metal music.
