Album Notes

This 'powerpop' CD exposes a very musical and fun side of the genre, and somehow doesn't manage to paint itself into one category alone.

It can be a little brooding, and even show the occasional bit of nostalgia, but it is always very sonic and melody driven.

Either way, it is like a powerpop high speed Harley chase, so get in the side car and enjoy the ride.

Bouncing bass lines and catchy choruses aside, the record showcases a sonic savvy and an acute ear for what audiences strive for: a good time. I’m not saying that this record is meant for pop audiences alone; they do incorporate nostalgic sounds and even get a little indie rock sounding at times. Fans of all kinds of pop rock music will be into it. Besides, they’ve got a great female drummer. That rules!
