It's very hard to classify this CD. It is very fun to listen to, though. Using a MIDI controller called a Ztar, Jey King puts a rock edge to the world of synthesizer music.
All the lead play is performed in real time on the Ztar. The musical arrangements were composed by Jey using a Korg Triton synthesizer.
You may listen to hundreds of different artists but you will never come across one like this. Give it a listen.

I was instantly taken in by Vortex and kept enjoying the other tracks on my six

I was looking for upbeat, interesting music without lyrics to use for spinning class and this is perfect. Very well mixed and creative touches. I am not an expert, but this was well worth the price.

The flow of sound from beginning to end couldn't be better...the leads on night flight are great ---- if you want to hear something that has searing leads like vai, angelo, or satriani and also want to get your rave on too, go for this CD, it has all that, and w/excellent production/sound quality.
