Album Notes

Las Vegas musician John Gould acknowledges his Southern roots with "The Idea of South", his first all-original project. Prominent use of some of the lesser-heard winds in jazz (clarinet and soprano sax), as well as blues-tinged vocals on the title cut make for a unique listening experience.
