Album Notes

* NOTE: 'DIRECTIONS' has recently been Re-Mastered for 2010 at Forth Worth Sound, one of the Top recording studios in the USA! The album sounds so much better with the new digital boards and state-of-the-art EQing, which presents a sound quality and level equal to any top name, major Band's abilities! You'll LOVE this NEW sound of the album! It is now the High-Def of Indie released albums! Order your copy today while we are in the Indie realm!

"Directions," by the Band, 'Greywolf,' is a 'new sound' in Folk//Americana music, using acoustic/electric/hand-made instruments, all totally real: homemade music spun by the rare talents of National & World fiddle champion Randy Elmore, the great electric lead guitar of Chris Thornberg, multi-instrumentalist Gary Mann, the late, great Henry Sapp (his final recording: #500!), formerly of Willie Nelson's first band, young drummer Aaron Brown and the multi-instrumentalist/singer-songwriter/producer, Jason Greywolf Leigh.
This album has truth-telling, 'down-to-the-bone' lyrics, upbeat, leg-shaking music, blatantly honest ballads and 'anti-dishonest-politician' songs of OUR direly needed times. Jason's songs are the voice crying 'to' the wilderness!
* You can now buy one or two songs or the entire album from Playpay.com AND CDBaby!:

We can't say that Jason Leigh 'sounds like,' anyone else, or that he has been more influenced by such and such. He *does* have his own writing style, which is in the truest sense of Folk-Rock/Americana music to be sure of, and he has loved almost 'all' of the music presented from Woody and Leadbelly, to Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, The Beatles and John Prine: they 'all' have made their impression upon him, and Jason hopes to make his impression upon you!
Buy this album now on the Cherry Picker Indie Label!

* Jason was Interviewed in 'Unsigned Magazine,' released April, 2005, issue #9, about his band, 'Greywolf,' the History of Folk/Americania music, and the producing of the album, "Directions." * Unsigned Magazine later announced "DIRECTIONS" as being in the 'Top Ten of ALL Indie released albums!'

* Jason 'Greywolf' Leigh is a cancer survivor and a medical marvel after five (5) spinal fusion operations with a puzzled-in spine in which one doctor related, "He may never walk again." But Jason never learned to say, "Then, there is no hope?" What he always says as he stands tall at 6' 3" is, "Where there is life, there is HOPE." He beat a wheelchair, and we're glad and thank God he did!
And so it goes . . .
