Album Notes

Introducing
The Jimmy Griswold Band

Jimmy Griswold captures the style of the artist in any type of music he attacks, from the warm tones of T-Bone Walker & BB King to the screaming sounds of Roy Buchanan, Jeff Beck & Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Jimmy projects unparallel energy and feeling to his guitar work. He has toured with the original Drifters and has opened for the likes of Ronnie Earl, George Thorogood, NRBQ, Dave Mason, Matt "Guitar" Murphy and many others.

Since relocating to the Tampa Bay area from Connecticut he has toured Europe with local blues great Rock Bottom and has been a sideman for many other Bay area ites.

Jimmy's highly original but, in the pocket style has made him a sought after musician in the Bay Area today. Therefore, it is recommended that one tries "The Jimmy Griswold Experience".

Short and sweet...this dude rocks! Lots of posers in this genre, and Jimmy takes them to task as well as making a niche of his own with the big guitarslingers.Evidence of his Buchanan influences abound, and Roy lives in Jimmys'signature cut. Do yourself a favor, and slap the leather for this one. You won't be disappointed.
