JHAYTEA born and raised in a small town by the name of FLOWERS BAY on the ISLAND OF ROATAN IN THE CENTRAL CARRIBEAN. History has been told that Roatan is THE ISLAND OF THE AFRO ANGLO ANTILLEANS. ROATAN ISLAND is and ex British island that is now governor by Honduras.

Grown up in Flowers Bay on the island of Roatan music was all ways part of the ROATANEANS culture, at the age of 8 years old I began singing in church. I was introduce to LOVERS ROCK and DANCEHALL music in Flowers Bay in the early 90s. Some of my inspirations came from local groups and artist such as the Rockies, Lucky Dube, R Kelly, Tupac Shakur and Capelton. At the age of Twelve I began performing all around ROATAN ISLAND. My nickname JHAYTEA was giving to me by locals, my given birth name is JUSTIN BROOKS.

My school teacher once said “WHAT WE DO FOR OURSELVES DIES WITH US BUT WHAT WE DO FOR OTHERS REMAIN AND IS INMORTAL.” I always dream of being a good example to my community and my island . Therefore, I took my talent to the next level by performing in Miami, New York and Boston. Then later began recording music with DRAG-ON FROM THE MOVIE EXIT WOMB starring STEVEN SEAGAL AND DMX… etc. Making a name for my self as JHAYTEA THE AFRO ANTILLEAN FROM ROATAN ISLAND. My hit single CLOSER BABY has just recently become a hit in Roatan island and the Cayman island. Thanks to alpha the creator of all things for all the blessing. And I’m still on the on with my ROATANEAN STYLE AND SWAGGA, my fans have fine my swaga and my unspoken about ISLAND very interesting. Look out there is much much more to come.
