DRAGONFLY is truly an inspired, innovative album that jumps genres with 12 fresh, soulful tracks. James was awarded the Best CD in Northern California out of 1,000 bands as well as the Best of San Francisco’s World Beat Music! When he’s not writing TV and film scores, touring with Pablo Cruise or collaborating with artists the likes of Taj Mahal, Robben Ford, Sly Stone or Pete Escovedo, the popular musician, composer and producer performs at festivals all over the world with his Hands of Fire band performing original music he calls “World Tribal Funk,” that mingles the vibes of Reggae, Soca, Afro Cuban, Samba and Hip Hop with jazz and funk.
