Album Notes

BIOG: Born in 1951, Birmingham, West Midlands UK, I picked up my first guitar at the age of twelve, four years later in 1967 I was playing in my first group, The Approach, with Ozzy Osbourne and three others. The Approach lasted a few weeks and I went on to play lead guitar in other groups, after doing that for a few years I started to wonder if I could write a song. My first song came to me in the early eighties and I called it, The Seven Wonders. After writing for some years I decided to get some of my songs professionally demoed and in 1997 I joined the International Songwriters Association and used two Artists, CATHY & THE INNOCENCE and TOM, RICK & LARRY who record through ISA to sing my songs for me. The first song, One way Rose, is dedicated to my Mother, the second song, Smoky old Town, is dedicated to my Father, there is a ballad, Summer Winds, about John Lennon and The Beatles, a song about childhood romance and more.
