Jim and Holly perform Scottish and Irish ballads with soulful family vocals in their first recorded effort. Taking their voices to the public, they have performed at pubs, festivals, private events, Burns Nights, and charitable events for over 12 years.
Joining them are Mark Davis on fiddle and mandolin, Mary Triola of Moc Pryderi on harp, Dr. Raymond Scott of the Mary Washington Pipe Band on highland bagpipes, and Dor'nel Pratt on backing vocals.
A Latter Day Saint (LDS) theme in interfaced with these ideas, also. Come Come Ye Saints is an LDS anthem, the hymn Praise to the Man takes it's melody from Scotland the Brave, A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief was one of Joseph Smith's favorites, and Haun's Mill: October 30, 1838 relates a tragic incident in LDS history. All are in the style of Celtic music.
