Jill Jack is one of those canny and original singer/songwriters who’s flown under the radar, quietly building herself a huge and loyal following in her home state of Michigan. Along the way, she has amassed a recorded catalog of uncommon depth, passion, and vision, winning 24 Detroit Music Awards in the last decade across three different genres (Acoustic/Folk, Country, and Pop/Rock) for vocalist, songwriter, album, and artist. Jill creates a musical tapestry that allows elegance, grace, and rugged self-reliance equal to weight is a gift. That she can carry them all in the grain of her voice as the foundations of hard-won truth is simply captivating.
Her 6th Cd Moon and the Morning After put her on the National Radar - receiving airplay around the US - one Radio station said: "Jill Jack; I just keep thinking somehow that if Waylon Jennings was a woman, it would be her! She's sharp, she's witty,
and she's got soul. Most important, I think based on her songwriting and style, she's got staying power; she gives Tift Merritt some real competition." With such high demand from fans for Jill to purchase the song "Live Like There's no Tomorrow" Jill decided to release the single while currently working on her 7th full lenght CD "Songwriter" which will be released in 2009.

I bought your single for Ryan's birthday- we heard it first when you sang it in Northville. It's a great song, that is even more meaningful when our 3 year old daughter is singing along! -She knows all the words and asks for it to be on repeat on the ipod each time we get in the car!! Keep on doing what you're doing, because you've got it right! Take care!

One of the best songs I have heard in a long time. The lyrics are thoughtful and make you thing about the simple things in life that mean so much. I'm looking forward to Jill's next CD.
