Album Notes
"Sharp Lady" was Jill's Dad's concept. Both Jill and Marvin participated/contributed to every song in one way or another. Marvin wrote and/or arranged the majority of the album. Those three tracks that Marvin did not compose or arrange, Jill wrote the lyrics to or arranged. One will hear the varied styles that Jill is capable of along with a greatly varied vocal range. The styles incorporated on the album are also varied from Popular Jazz to Latin Jazz to Smooth Jazz to Easy Listening and even Patriotic. The songs represent all the talented people in Jill's life, her father Marvin and friends whose love and musicianship she cherishes.
