An amazing album from an amazing musician

I first heard Jim Byrnes music through the television show Highlander, which he acted on. Jim is an amazing musician, which definitely shows on this album. The songs on Fresh Horses took my breath away. He puts an amazing amount of energy and emotion into each song, especially in I Can’t Be Satisfied, Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues, and The Pilgrim (which brought me to tears the first time I heard it). A special treat on this album was Love is Just a Gamble, which he performed on an episode of Highlander. 
I highly recommend this album to anyone who is a blues fan, and any music lovers in general—you will not be disappointed!
