Album Notes

Jim Carter hails from America's Midwest and has been a professional singer and entertainer since the Sixties. He's an accomplished bass / baritone singer, piano and keyboard muscian as well as an actor and character "Voice-Over" artist.

Jim come to Tree Records with the "Daydreamer" Album which is also currently available from CD Baby and going to iTunes and other Digital Sites in a few weeks via CD Baby. His Digital Downloads will be under the Tree Records Profile. Jim will impress you with his renderings of such classic hits as "Drift Away","You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling", "Walkin' In Memphis", "Summertime" and "Sitting' On The Dock Of The Bay" to name but a few as well as delight you with his original song "My Music Is My Lover Tonight".

Jim's past successes included playing Ron in the National Tour Company's production of the Broadway Musical "Hair", performed at such noted icons of the Entertainment World as Radio City Hall (New York), Walt Disney World and Universal / Orlando Resorts (Orlando, Florida) and on the legendary riverboat the "Delta Queen" (New Orleans, L.A.).

He has also worked with such name stars as Helen Reddy, RED Buttons, Jose Felicano, Peabo Bryson, Walter Crockett, David Faustino (Bud in "Married With Children") and the Radio City "Rockettes". In 2010 he made his first Overseas appearance, performing in Vienna for a Week.

Jim considers his current music style as being "New Retro". Jim says while Hip-Hop or Alternative are great sounds, they are not for everyone and jokingly, believes he was "hip" before the 'hop' was added. Seriously though, Jim is a great artist with a rich, deep voice that always thrills the listener. "Daydreamer" is just the beginning, there's more amazing songs and music to come yet from this happy American artist.
