When asked what message he wanted to present to the world, in his new album “Your Time Has Come”, Jim responded that his music voices a positive message for all people. “My desire is to see lives changed and truly touched by my songs that relate to people, places and challenges we face every day. We can overcome through the power of prayer and faith and obedience to God’s word. The passion Jim has for the Lord and others is clearly evident in his music and performances as he pours every ounce of energy into his songs.
“Your Time Has Come’, is a follow up to Jim’s first album “All Things In Time” and he continues to offer an outpouring of his heart. Each song offers a message of hope, faith and the power of God's love. These songs are about people, things I have observed, and experiences or that I was inspired to write from observation, conversation, reading, or just listening to others. When I get inspired, I try to have a recorder, a pen, paper handy to get the thoughts down. Sometimes I just get pieces of a lyric or melody and I just wait for the rest to come, sometimes it comes in hours, days, and for some songs, even years, like "Heavenly Places" for example. With anointed vocals, thought provoking lyrics and soaring melodies, this album is a must have! “
As a new indie artist airplay is hard to come by nonetheless shortly after joining ReverbNation, Jim found a new audience of listeners and was acknowledge by Metro Media Group, Inc. with a message from Christopher Ewing, Host of "The Radio Cafe ReverbNation Indie Music Countdown", “I'm writing you to say "Congratulations"! Your music has been chosen for consideration for airplay on "The Radio Cafe ReverbNation Indie Music Countdown"! I receive thousands and thousands of submissions for airplay from all over the world, and you were chosen from all of those submissions because I feel that you are one of the BEST independent artists out there right now. Way to go!” I am blessed everyday and I truly give God all the credit. My hope is that all who listen are uplifted and inspired by the amazing love of Christ. Jim was also an honor award winner in the gospel category of the 6th Annual Great American Song Contest for his song on his first album with the song, "All Things In Time". I hope you love my music, I call it RMM, Relative Message Music, because people tell me they can related to what I saying in my songs, so I hope you love my life story songs as much as I love to share them with you. As a kidney transplant recipient, I thank God everyday for giving me a second chance on life and this opportunity to share what's on my heart with you. Peace and Love, Jim L. Davis
